In keeping with its new, high performance image, BMW is expected to increase the displacement and power of its K1200 series of motorcycles soon . . . perhaps, this year. Speculation by the European press indicates a K1300 model, or two, will be introduced within the next few weeks by BMW for the 2009 model year. The larger displacement in-line four is expected to make in the neighborhood of 180 horsepower.
