Irvine, Calif. (January 4, 2013) – With more than 30 years of history in motocross and off-road racing, Monster Energy Kawasaki will continue their unparalleled trackside support at amateur motocross events and select off-road events across the country, as well as an extensive contingency program through the convenient and easy-to-use Kawasaki Contingency Rewards MasterCard®. With a full line of KX™ models to choose from, racers of any size can be eligible to earn Kawasaki Contingency Rewards.
For the 2013 season, Kawasaki will be extending their contingency to include the entire field in both professional supercross and motocross. For the first time, all eligible Kawasaki riders that qualify for the main event in supercross and the top 40 in motocross will be eligible to collect contingency on their KX™250F or KX™450F. Team Green will continue their grass roots contingency as well, supporting many of the top motocross and off-road series.
“This year we stepped up our contingency for Kawasaki privateers in the pro ranks,” said Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green Supervisor Ryan Holliday. “In 2013, any Kawasaki rider who makes the main event in a supercross or qualifies in the top 40 at any AMA Pro Motocross National, will collect contingency. It pays to ride a Kawasaki no matter where you are in the field. We also added a few series in markets that we previously did not cover, giving is the broadest motocross program out there.”
In addition to contingency, Kawasaki Team Green’s trackside support continues to lead the industry. At more than 50 local, regional, and national level event the Team Green trackside support program includes on-site Kawasaki technicians and race transporters providing emergency parts, technical assistance, and racing tips. The Team Green support vehicles are there to make sure every Kawasaki rider is race ready and included in the Team Green family.
“Many of the today’s top professionals grew up as part of the Team Green family,” said Monster Energy Kawasaki Senior Racing Manager Reid Nordin. “Kawasaki riders can go to the line knowing they have a support team behind them just as Kawasaki champions Ryan Villopoto, Dean Wilson, or Blake Baggett did as Team Green amateurs.”
