A wet race in Jerez, Spain resulted in a Honda sweep of the podium places. Sete Gibernau won the race ahead of Max Biaggi and Alex Barros, in second and third, respectively. Valentino Rossi (Yamaha), winner of the opening GP round at Welkom, South Africa, finished fourth today.
