Bimota Unveils Naked Version of DB5

Bimota showed the world its latest creation for the first time yesterday at the Milan Show. The DB6 Delirio is a naked bike based on the DB5 sportbike, and looks to retain that bike’s trellis frame, tubular swingarm, and Ducati powerplant. The styling is all-new, however, and the bike features high, MX-style tubular handlebars for a streetfighter-style riding position.

Assuming the motor retains an identical specification to the DB5, the Delirio will provide a claimed 92hp and around 65ftlb of torque. Not exactly earth-shattering, but when combined with the typical Bimota light weight (Bimota claims a dry weight of 343lb for the DB5, and the Delirio should be similar) it is likely to make for an exciting ride.

Since Bimota has released few details as of yet, there isn’t much more to tell you, so take the time to check out these Bimota studio photos of the DB6.
