Aprilia dominated the MotoGP round at Assen last weekend. The brand took five of the six available podiums in two races, including both wins.
Saturday’s Sprint saw the Aprilia Trackhouse satellite squad take the first two places with Raul Fernandez winning and Ai Ogura finishing second. The Ducati under Fabio Di Giannantonio came home in third.
Sunday’s full-length GP saw Aprilia sweep the podium. This time Ogura won the race ahead of second place Fernandez and third place Jorge Martin.
Martin is the new points leader in the championship. Ogura’s strong recent form sees him move up to fourth in the championship, just 25 points behind Martin.
