The MotoGP series visited the Misano circuit for the second time in two weeks this last weekend.
Saturday’s Sprint saw defending champ Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati) take the win over Jorge Martin (Ducati) in a close second place. Bagnaia and Martin set an incredible pace during the race – posting several lap times that would have been good qualifying laps. Enea Bastianini (Ducati) came home in third.
In Sunday’s full GP race, it was looking like the same three riders would reach the podium before Bagnaia crashed out near the end of the race. Ultimately, Bastianini made a controversial last lap pass of Martin to take the win. Martin was second and Marc Marquez (Ducati) inherited the third spot on the podium after Bagnaia’s crash.
Martin extends his championship points heading into the next round. For full results and points for Saturday’s Sprint race, visit the MotoGP site here. For full results and points for Sunday’s MotoGP race, visit the MotoGP site here.

Tough move for sure, but if JM isn’t complaining (too much) I guess it was just racing. Great ride by FQ. Bummer getting nipped at the line though.

Yeah, FQ ran out of gas on the last straight. Crazy.
